For Amigas to display on all frequencies, you need a monitor that can sync between 15Khz and 31Khz. Most modern monitors will only sync from 31Khz onwards leaving most of the frequencies that are used for games on an Amiga out. Check this site out:

http://www.griffintechnology.com/archive/monitors/NEC04.html

It's a database of monitors and their frequencies. You'll notice that it's marked on a NEC Multisync 3D monitor - the one I use. Just forward and backward yourself through the different NEC Multisync monitors to become familar with the ones that will sync at 15Khz and go hit the thrifts Smile I've also recently found out this monitor will sync the IIgs frequencies too!

Using the Wayback Machine gives this page, and sort of allows you to browse the site (although in a limited fashion).

By the way, there are later versions of the NEC Multisync monitors that do NOT do 15kHz. Specifically, I found an NEC Multisync 95 at the thrift store a while back and bought it hoping that it happened to do 15kHz, but it turned out to be just another normal VGA monitor, incapable of syncing so low. I was going to keep it as a regular VGA monitor for use with my DOS machine and Amiga 3000, but the monitor didn't work anyways Sad
