Magazines Scans and Ads

Along with all the scans of cartridges and boxes, we're going to attempt to scan all the magazines that we can get a hold of. This project will, no doubt, ever be complete. But like the webpage, we're willing to give it a shot! And unlike the carts and box scans on the website, we're asking for help on these. If you have magazines that you can scan, or already are scanned, please contact us and we'll host the files. Of course, we'll say whatever nice things you want us to say about you and link to whatever website (within reason) that you want. Just click the 'contact' link on the left sidebar.

Current List of Magazine Scans Online:

Micropedium

Micropendium was a magazine published from 1984 through 1999 which is astonishing for a magazine dedicated to a computer that stopped being made in 1983. The original scans for this magazine were found at ftp://whtech.com/magazines/micropendium. These have been converted to Adobe Acrobat files by SuperPsycho so that anyone regardless of OS or platform can read these files. Thanks go to him for taking the large amount of time to convert these files.

Commodore Format

Commodore Format was a magazine published from 1990 through 1995 - some scans are donated by Roger Frames. Thanks to him for taking the time to scan those in!

Classic Ad Scans

We are in the process of scanning in thousands of ads from hundreds of magazines donated to us. From the familiar to the downright weird, these ads will bring back either nostalgia for the old timers, and laughs from the newer generation.
